Djindi is a mercurial cat of almost 7 lbs. Her name means something like mist - resembling
her ability to appear and disappear unpredictably. Her colour is very dark, very warm
on stomach and chest. Her body is short, legs and tail of beatiful length. Djindi
has an adorable profile with an excellent chin. |
We imported Djindi, together with her aunt / cousin T'Pring in February 2000 from
Australia. The kittens had, as a requirement of the authorized vet, to quarantined
in a separate room of our house, but got over this time very well. The picture was
taken the day after their arrival.

For fear of any possible damage to the kittens from the large temperature gap between
Australia and Germany in European spring, we only took the kittens outside on days
when we enjoyed sitting there without wearing a sweater. The picture shows Djindi
on her first exploration of the foreign area. |
Djindi in profile. Unfortunately, in 2001 she suffered from a life threatening pyometra,
leading to spay surgery. We are sorry about her disability to produce any offspring.
